Completion of Spring crop planting: 4,000 hectares planted

Landkom International PLC (AIM: LKI, "Landkom" or the "Company"), the Ukrainian producer of high-value oil seed rape and wheat, has now completed the planting of its Spring wheat for harvest in 2008.

On 10 April 2008, Landkom indicated in its Final Results that it expected to plant an additional 2,000 hectares during Spring 2008. However, it has now completed the planting of over 4,000 hectares of Spring wheat for harvest in August and September 2008. This is in addition to the 10,000 hectares of wheat and oilseed rape already planted in Autumn 2007.

Richard Spinks, Landkom Chief Executive, commented:

"This is very encouraging news as we now expect to harvest over 14,000 hectares later this year, a figure which is well ahead of our expectations last autumn."
